Our Mission

At We Care Association of Windsor, our mission is to alleviate poverty and enhance the quality of life for individuals and families facing financial hardship. We achieve this by providing consistent access to essential resources, including nutritious food, clean clothing, hygiene supplies, and other necessities of life.

Through direct support, community partnerships, and compassionate outreach, we strive to meet the immediate needs of those most vulnerable in our community while upholding their dignity, strengthening resilience, and promoting long-term well-being.

Our Vision

We envision a community where no one has to choose between food and shelter, warmth and dignity, or health and survival. Our vision is a Windsor where all individuals have reliable access to life’s essentials, and where the cycle of poverty is disrupted through care, equity, and shared responsibility.
We aim to build a future marked by compassion, where support systems are strong, basic needs are met with respect, and every person has the opportunity to live with stability and hope.

Our Mandate

– To provide a safe and inclusive space for community members of all ages to gather, participate in recreational activities, and access resources and services that promote well-being and social connection.

–  To reduce hunger and food insecurity in the local community by providing access to nutritious food for those in need, while advocating for systemic change to tackle the root causes of poverty and food scarcity.

– To empower youth through educational programs, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities, enabling them to reach their full potential and become positive contributors to their community.

– To enhance the quality of life for seniors in the community by providing social, recreational, and educational programs, advocating for seniors’ rights and needs, and fostering intergenerational connections.
