The We Care Association of Windsor was delighted to host another successful week of its Senior Gathering Program, bringing together older adults for an afternoon of friendship, conversation, and community engagement. Participants enjoyed spending time together in a welcoming environment where they could socialize, share experiences, and strengthen meaningful connections.
Funded by Employment and Social Development Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, these weekly gatherings continue to play an important role in promoting social inclusion and enhancing seniors’ well-being in our community. The positive energy, laughter, and sense of belonging experienced throughout the event highlighted the value of creating opportunities for seniors to remain active and connected.
The We Care Association remains committed to supporting seniors through programs that foster companionship, encourage participation, and celebrate the important contributions older adults make to our community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another enjoyable gathering next week.
